Getting Started

IMG_0137

It is understandable that parents may feel unsure with the responsibility of starting a parent-based intervention.  As a parent, who went through the program with my son, I can say that if you are wiling to learn, you can achieve transformational results for the whole family.  Review my son’s “Before and After” video if you would like to get an idea of what that looks like.

It is advisable that you interview several consultants to find that “good fit”.  Consultants work closely with parents especially in the beginning, and this professional relationship can last several years.  Go to rdiconnect.com to find consultants in your area.

What to expect during the “Getting Started” phase.

    • Make use of the free one hour consultation so I can answer all your questions.
    • Each parent fills out a Parent Intake Form – Here preliminary information is collected and includes reflection questions to determine readiness.
    • Parents fill out the Relationship Development Questionnaire – A survey to determine the level of relationship capabilities of the child.
    • Each parent submits a short video sample of an interaction with their child.
    • A one hour contract talk – Here, we spell out the clients’ and consultant’s roles and responsibilities as well as fees.
